We like to think that we are important and that without us someone wouldn´t be able to perform his or her tasks. That is just our nature and I think that it would be difficult to suddenly change our attitude. It´s almost like a habit and you probably know how hard it is to get rid o our habits. If you don´t then ask person who would like to give up smoking. Anyway, a lot of companies use this nature of ours to make us feel important. I don´t know if you have noticed it but for example, if you are using services of some company for a longer time, they will send you cards with wishes on Christmas and other important occasions. They are showing you that you are important. This is especially visible with telephone providers. They send you messages, letters, etc. All that to make sure you will still be their client. It happened to me at the gym as well. I was attending this gym for a year now and I received a free whey protein as a present. All people who were part of the gym for at least a year did. I think that is really nice of them and I will definitely keep on going to this gym. What kind of presents did you receive from your company? Did you like it or was it something typical?
